Are you willing to give time from your heart? Volunteering is sacred service and once we resume in person service, you can serve as little or as much as you are called to.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our Congregation.

If you would like to volunteer, or you know of a way to serve, contact Reverend Lea Alvarado at revlea@cslnoco.org.

Serving our broader community, each month we focus on a different non-profit! We donate money, products, and we provide information on how to volunteer with the chosen organization. Check out our newsletter for more information. If you have any questions, please contact Reverend Lea Alvarado at revlea@cslnoco.org

Donors Choose is committed to combating racial and socioeconomic inequity in school funding and works to find support for teachers of color and for schools that serve low-income communities and Black, Latino, and Native American students. Here are two local projects from teachers in Fort Collins

and Loveland.

Here are their current needs:

Ms. Trinity at Poudre Global Academy offers a mindfulness program that serves 10-20 underserved and high-risk teenagers. She requested Archetypes Decks as a Social Emotional Learning tool for her students to help them identify what they are feeling, what they need, and where they want to grow in their lives. Supporting this project will be an investment in the well-being of the students and help with academic achievement, social justice, as well as social-emotional awareness, and resiliency.

$287 needed

Ms. Quere a Mary Blair Elementary in Loveland is requesting basic Physical Education equipment to help get students engaged and hooked on a lifetime of movement for a healthy lifestyle. This project will reach 200 students and more than half are from low-income households.

$450 needed

The act of tithing (giving ten percent of your income to that which serves you spiritually) has been practiced throughout history in most faith traditions. Ten percent is enough so that no matter your income, it is not unbearable, and no matter your income it cannot be taken for granted.

If you would like to discuss tithing, please contact our Office Administrator at  info@cslnoco.org make an appointment to talk with a Reverend.
