CSL NOCO 101 is a one-session introduction to CSL NOCO with other newer folks, and current CSL NOCO members, facilitated by Rev. Lea Alvarado.

Expect meaningful and fun connection and conversation as well as a beginning orientation to the Center and our core teachings. In this interactive session there will also be plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Those who choose to join the Center as a member will be invited to attend a special New Member Sunday, April 28th, where they’ll be honored by the whole congregation in a special membership welcoming ceremony.

This course is required for membership.

DESCRIPTION: This series offers prayerful and practical support for facing difficult choices and making end-of-life decisions. Through reflection, self-discovery, and practical information, you will explore your preferences, questions, discomfort and fears about end-of-life planning. You will receive practical tools to help you document your final wishes and communicate clearly with your loved ones and medical caregivers. Planning ahead for your final days can reduce the burden on your loved ones as it empowers you to maintain your dignity and values at the end of your life.

Join CSLNOCO’s Music Director, singer-songwriter, and pianist, Julie Koenig as she celebrates the release of her 2nd recording project!

“Intruder” is a 5-track EP of original songs that explore the topics of depression, anxiety, self-reflection and intrusive thoughts. Each track lives within its own genre, with strong elements of jazz, pop, soul, and folk rock.

Julie will be joined by a full band: Alex Annan (bass), Ben Hall (guitar), Trent Wells (drums), Masha Eads (guitar and backing vocals) and Allison Young (tenor saxophone). There will be an opening set performed by the Alex Annan Quartet, featuring vocalist Kelsey Wallner.
